Holy crap this better not be true. Allegedly, the NLRB, now with a full panel thanks to Obama’s illegal recess appointments and the obvious lack of spine by the GOP, is considering a mandate that will force businesses to give unions the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of their employees. I don’t know what to say. I just don’t.
This goes beyond the beyonds. Imagine yourself a small business owner. In this economy you’re barely treading water. You pay the best wages you can to keep the company going. Now here comes this government entity and without any sort of Congressional debate tells you that you have to give this information to the local TCU, IBEW, or whatever. What if those employees don’t want their information given out? Don’t they get a say? What if this information gets in the hands of the unionistas and they begin their campaign of threats and intimidation, as they do DO, toward your employees? What recourse do they have at this point? Do we need further proof that this administration is the MOST unfriendly-to-business administration ever? If you wanted to drive a stake through the heart of American companies, what would you do differently than this asshole? Mother of G-d how can anyone vote for him again?

Notice too that in the Bush years unemployment actually decreased. Enjoy

How could that be when we’ve been fed a steady diet by the mainstream media of how Bush not only squandered the Clinton surplus (also a fabrication) but under Bush the rich got richer while the poor got poorer.
I was actually shocked when I read this article. Really. Because to a degree I too believed that during the eight Bush years things were worse for some people. Damn I hate it when I fall for this crap. When will I learn that the media has an agenda and that agenda has nothing to do with what is actually in the best interest of this country. Ditto for the Democrat party.

Frankly, I was surprised the author stopped at 35. Let’s face it, this Marxist has done things that would have garnered impeachment proceedings and/or talk of treason charges had he be anyone else. Obama has gotten so many passes on things by the MSM that to this day some fools still think he’s doing a wonderful job. An acquaintance of FB included in her post a short list of all his accomplishments–most of which (getting OBL!?) were bogus slants on actual events. Talk about a brainwashed fool. It’s just frightening there are so many people out there who think he is still THe One. Just pray their aren’t too many left by November.

Whenever there’s a tragic death of a child by a gun in someone’s home, that’s sad. Almost without exception it is the fault of the parents for not securing the gun in the first place. Many in the media don’t want to pile on the guilt of the parents by saying this and I can certainly understand but it needs to be said. If you have guns in your house AND you’re a responsible gun owner, you will put them where only an adult can access them in times of emergency. All the kids in the house need to understand that ONLY the adults handle them until such time the kids can be deemed responsible enough to handle them. It’s that simple.
So media outlets constantly report on tragedy’s like the above because being leftists, they want strict gun control laws. By their reasoning, we should most likely outlaw cars too because handling them irresponsibly can lead to the death of innocents. It’s a flawed argument. They rarely report on stories such as these. They do happen though and a lot more than most people think. Many states now have something called the ‘castle doctrine’ which allows the homeowner to use whatever force is necessary to not only defend themselves but their property. So if someone breaks in to your house, whether or not you see a weapon, you can assume they are there to do you harm, your family, or your property and if they don’t leave when demanded, you can shoot them. When places pass laws like that, crime rates often if not always go down. Why? Because criminals like easy pickings and if they don’t know someone is packing, they’ll move on.
Be careful though. Some states do not have this law. In those areas you must make a ‘reasonable attempt’ to flee. Yeah…just give ‘em the keys to the house, car, jewelry, or let them harm your relatives. Just don’t fight back or you’ll be the one on the hotseat. Total BS. As the saying goes, I’d rather be tried by twelve than carried by six. So happy I live in a state that hasn’t lost its mind…yet.

You would think that people who’ve reached the pinnacle of the music industry, who’ve depended on the free market to support them, would at least have an effing clue how to sing the damn national anthem of their country without cocking it up.
If this is any indication, I can’t wait to see how the shirts handle the anthem for the Super Bowl. I’m already going to hit the snooze button for the halftime show which is to feature Madonna. She stopped being relevant 15 years ago. Spare us all please.
On the bright side, Kristen Chenowyth (sp?) did a good job for the Giants/Niners game. It was just a bit draggy but still loads better.

No…they’ve never been a ‘right wing news outlet’. They are to the right of NBCCBSABCPBSCNNMSNBC etc so I guess that kinda makes them right wing to those outlets. They have some ‘conservative’ commentators, Hannity comes to mind. But most of their other commentators go left or right depending on their POV–which is OK…it is their opinion (O’Reilly, Cavuto). Their actual news programming is pretty fair insomuch as I can’t say I’ve see a definitive bias like I do the other channels.
For over a year now though, there have been indications they were moving further to the left, I guess to get in line with the other Obama media and it seems now more info is coming out that this is indeed the case. Why did Beck leave? I didn’t always agree with what I heard Beck say (I can’t say I watch Fox with any regularity anyway—I much prefer the History Channel). I did think Beck’s announcement he was leaving was sudden. Now we are getting a better picture as to why. This is the second news article I’ve seen in as many days about Fox’s new drift to the left and Beck’s departure so I figured it was pretty newsworty.
Fox has been hiring leftist tools like Geraldo for a few years now. This latest addition is strange for a network the left likes to claim is right wing. You don’t get more left wing than Sally Kohn, unless your Obama or Soros himself.
I do have some relatives who aren’t going to like this at all but I always say don’t rely on just one source of information anyway. A bigger question to me is, if the only network which made an attempt at times to give a more balanced view goes away and the government is successful in getting their grubby mitts on the internet, will we ever get the truth about anything ever again? Scary thought.

First off…most people using that word have no fricking idea what it really means. We saw it in the 2008 election cycle. Anyone who criticized Obama in any way got that label. It scared some people. It scared some media outlets. But that’s politics. As long as they aren’t criticizing his looks, or anything else that’s personal, it’s fine. Criticize his policies, his past, what he has or hasn’t done. That’s OK. That’s how candidates are vetted. It’s why he wasn’t. Too many people were so afraid to raise any questions a normal candidate would have faced that to this day we still don’t know that much about his past.
It’s already ramping up again. I hope it doesn’t work though. Now he does have a verifiable record that can be examined. Pay no attention to the cries of racism from people like Jackson and Sharpton, who’ve made darn good livings at race baiting. Look at all the candidates. Ask questions, demand answers. And if they don’t answer to your satisfaction, ask yourself why? What are they hiding. Let the best person win. I really feel our country’s future depends on it.

The best picture of how devastating “progressive” policies have been to our economy can be seen by looking at the data starting in 2007—when Congress became controlled by Democrats. First, some perspective. GWB was handed a recession from Clinton but you never heard GWB blame Clinton for that recession. GWB was handed, thanks to Clinton and Gorelick, a ‘wall of separation’ that ultimately lead to the 9/11 attacks yet you never heard GWB blame anyone. Moving forward, Bush became a lame duck president in 2007. Use the ‘net to go back and look at the Office of Management and Budget’s figures for the fall of 2007 forward. It’s easy to see the economy started go to off the rails as a direct result of the increasingly hostile to business Democrat Congress. Smart business people at all levels paid attention to what was going on in DC with regard to regulations, mandates, new laws, fees, etc. and started cutting back on expenses. Since nothing happens in a vacuum, what they weren’t buying (or hiring) caused the slowdown to accelerate as other companies had to start cutting back. As soon as it became obvious in the fall of 2008 that Obama was going to be elected (October 2008) the economy really began to take a nosedive, where it has been going since January 2009 when Barack “ready to rule” Obama was sworn in.
Obama has steadily used Executive Orders, layers of beaurocracy and federal departments to push his agenda when he couldn’t even get a Congress controlled by his own party to do his bidding. He has repeatedly ‘gone it alone’ as he said he would, to push his socialist/Marxist agenda. Now he has effectively shut down a pipeline project that would not only have put people to work but would have given us a measure of energy independence. Seventy percent of people polled want that project to go through. Today it was revealed he is planning to use the EPA to shut down up to 32 coal power plants. We get most of our power from coal. What happens then? To quote Obama himself, ‘prices will necessarily skyrocket’. Who is that going to hurt the most? Everyone who has little disposable income to handle any increase in bills will suffer for this decision. It won’t hurt Obama and friends. He’s killing jobs left and right, ensuring the cost of living keeps going up, while coddling our enemies. If that is the idea of someone who is doing a great job for our country the DSM-IV probably has a category now.
