When does he ever tell the truth?

Posted: March 20, 2012 in Economy, Obama

Really? It is so tiresome tracking all the bullshit that emanates from that assholes mouth but I’m grateful there are those willing to put the time in to fact-check him. CFP is a great source of information you’re not likely to see in the US LSM. I don’t mosey over there half as much as I should but did today and found this article that succinctly takes some of the more recent fabrications and delusions apart. I especially like this line “Barack Obama knows that you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. He understands that he only needs to fool enough to be reelected.”

OH wow….

Nosing through my favorite blogs tonight I saw this post about a NothingButCommies story on rising gas prices. I’m glad I didn’t have something in my mouth because it would have shot out of my nose.
Funny I was just thinking about this and wondering how the media was going to spin these rising prices. Now I know.
They blamed Bush for high prices, they don’t blame Obama. They wanted higher prices when Obama was running for office, but now they lament the cost. And they wonder why no one trusts them anymore. Stupids

This is happening so much it would be laughable were it not for the billions, perhaps trillions of our tax money that have been funneled to these operations. What makes this latest one bad is even after getting taxpayer money AND moving to Mexico (what about jobs here?) they still couldn’t get this bullshit technology to be viable. The company’s name is Energy Conversion Devices. They received 13.3 million in tax credits last year. They moved from Michigan to Mexico. Democrats praised them just before they filed for bankruptcy. Is anyone keeping score on the number of companies and how much total has been thrown away on this garbage? How much more of this are we going to take?
And one more thing. Gas is at historic sustained highs. The prediction is it’ll be $4 a gallon by summer. Why isn’t there a constant media drumbeat blaming the president over gas prices now? Calls for releasing the strategic oil reserves? Not.a.peep.

Unemployment numbers part deux

Posted: February 6, 2012 in Economy, Obama

This was an interesting weekend. It would seem the much-ballyhooed unemployment numbers aren’t commanding the blind allegience hoped for by the liberal media and The One. I’m really excited about this because it would seem people are paying more attention and not accepting what is being put out there as truth. They also seem to be saying the same things—the economy still stinks and nothing has changed despite the official party line. Wow…maybe the big ol’ cluebat has finally hit folks over the head.
I got a fine email from one of the finest Democrat dog washers ever, Patrick Gaspard. Here’s his Wiki bio if you want to get an idea of what his possible point of view just might be on things. Anyway, Mr. Gaspard starts his drivel off with this: “On Friday, it was announced that we’ve hit our 23rd consecutive month of job growth. We’ve seen 3.7 million private-sector jobs created during that time.” Really? So…just to be fair, go to this link to see the chart put together by the WH. I honestly will not put up a picture of the official Odumbass chart because I’m not going to waste valuable space so go there if you want to see it. I will say I don’t know where they get their numbers because it’s complete bullshit. Look at this chart from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and tell me if the WH chart makes sense?
It’s painfully clear the WH and the LSM are not going to be honest about the actual jobs record of Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress from 2007 to 2011. They just stopped counting people who used to have jobs but aren’t looking any more. If they did, the unemployment numbers would exceed those of the Great Depression and they cannot have that.
One other question. Where the hell are the Republicans on this? With the exception of Rep. West, there’s been hardly a peep. They are dumber than a box of rocks aren’t they? They should be utilizing every outlet imaginable to point out how wrong the WH is, but it’s like they’re asleep. They complain about the lack of leadership from Obama but I’d have to say they aren’t very leaderly themselves. It’s like they want to lose….. We cannot take four more years of Executive Orders and “going it alone”. Vote accordingly.

The new unemployment numbers

Posted: February 5, 2012 in Economy

Much is going to be made of the newest decline in unemployment as proof that The One’s policies are working. Many mainstream media outlets are either not doing their homework, don’t understand, or complicit in the bullshit that is at the root of these numbers.
Zero Hedge does a great job hereof explaining the what’s and why’s.
But listen, we all knew this was going to happen. We knew the Obama WH with their buddies in the lame stream media were going to have to do something to help him get re-elected. If lying about the unemployment figures will help do it, so be it. I fully expect by the time October rolls around unemployment to be below 7% officially. Look around though. Are you still looking for work? What about your neighbors? Are businesses still closing their doors? What about homes in your neighborhood. Are there still a lot of vacant or for sale signs up? If those tend to answer yes, then the economy still stinks. Things aren’t better somewhere else and will come around to your location. It still stinks e-v-e-r-w-h-e-r-e. Don’t be fooled by these lying SOBs in DC.

Facebook is a fertile field of barking moonbats. And I’ll admit it is kinda fun getting them in a corner and poking them with a sharp stick. Some days it’s not worth the effort though. I know I’m not going to convince anyone who has bathed so often in the nutball bath that is liberalism that pretty much everything they’ve been told is wrong. Some people, your’s truly included, had to find things out the hard way.
It’s difficult for me to believe that after at least four years, well from 2007 to 2011, of progressive policies which have taken a country from limping on the side of the road to being hobo-rolled in the ditch, that we need four more of the same. How absolutely clue-impaired do you have to be to no understand that the country is NOT better off now than five years ago? Look at all the stats available from unbiased sources. Real unemployment is still in double digits (that 8.5 stuff released from the WH is complete BS). The average cost of a gallon of gas is a a historic sustained amount. The prices of food continues to rise in part because of the cost of fuel. All of these things and more mean people who are struggling will have less money in their pocket for even the basics. I’ve seen more homeless people lately than I’ve ever seen and that includes when I lived in a large southern city. Homeless people with dogs, which just rips my heart out. I’ve never given to homeless people before as I know many make pretty darn good money tax free standing on a street corner, but when I see someone and their pet, that’s different. Knowing they are not abandoning their buddy to a kill shelter is worth something to me and I will give them something if I have it. But I digress.
So I see this long screed on FB where everything from low tire pressure and anal seepage was attributable to GWB and had to jump in. I’m going to select here two choice points in the diatribe which show the liberal attack lines of wealth envy and racism are very effective with people who can’t think for themselves. One note too…I have no idea where this twerp got their info but that doesn’t really matter. Obama pulls stuff out of his ass all the time too.
“You didn’t get mad when we gave people who had more money than they could spend, the 1%, over a trillion dollars in tax breaks.” So…if someone ‘has more money than they can spend’ they should just hand it over to others? How Marxist. and so Obama. Listen, I’m unemployed right now. So by their logic, if they’re working I think it only ‘fair’ they send me every pay period 30% of their pre-tax pay. I’m betting if I said that the proggie’s head would explode. When it’s other people’s money, especially those defined as rich by whoever’s making the definition, it’s OK. But to someone who has no income, even minimum wage is something so there. Oh…and ‘more money than they can spend’? Really? Is there such a thing? If they want to ‘spend’ their surplus by putting it in to a retirement account, that’s their business. They earned it. Besides…whatever happened to ‘thou shall not covet’?
“You finally got mad when a black man was elected President and decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, job losses by the millions, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, and the worst economic disaster since 1929 are all okay with you, but helping fellow Americans who are sick… ” Yeah…it’s all about raaaaaaacism. People have ALWAYS been able to see a doctor if they’re sick. NO ONE is turned away from ERs, etc…it’s the law. Right there. Don’t believe me…go to an ER and ask the triage nurse how many indigents (and illegals) use the ER as their primary care facility…which people paying taxes must support.
So there you have it. Wealth envy and racism. Those are going to be what the left will hammer on later this year. It’s all they’ve got. They can’t run on The One’s record. So they must deflect with emotionally-laden white rabbits. I have a feeling it’s all going to hit liberals one dayu like an anvil on Wiley Coyote. I’ll be first in line to say “I told you so”.

It has begun. Obama is using the EPA to close six coal plants. Here is the video of him way back when talking about rising prices.
Yesterday (on a weekend of course) this news story came out. Ok…I’d like to ask each and every one of those people losing their jobs if they voted for this assclown. Then I’d like to ask all these people who will see their heating bills rise, or their AC bills go up if they voted for this assclown. In both cases all of those affected will have less money to spend on their own bills, to say nothing of disposable income and I could care less but there are many who will be hurt who didn’t buy the hopenchange line.
We get most of our energy needs met in this country from coal plants. Coal, because of restrictions and mandates, is one of the cleanest burning energy sources around these days despite what the article states, so why did Obama promise to close plants back in 2008 and why is he doing it now? Part of this is easy. First…it’s a promise he made to the global warmists. Obama has many masters. They are just another one that he must do something to placate because it’s an election year. Second, if he is able to use another layer of government to create more problems and make more people dependent on government, then it’s a win-win. I’m pretty sure there’s more to this like who else is going to benefit. Soros and Buffett are benefitting from the delay in Keystone so it’s a logical conclusion.
I guarantee Obama people will see those losing their jobs and be ok with it. These are nameless people, something happening miles away from the comfort of their own living rooms. They’ll only be concerned when the effects of these decisions affects them personally, and that could be months down the road, perhaps when we hopefully have a new president with some stones. By then, most will have forgotten and the media will not point out the cause so it’ll be easy to blame on Congress, Republican obstructionism, a new administration or something along those lines. I know I will remember. And I remember this also: elections have consequences. This Marxist troll has got to go.
