Trayvon Martin

Posted: March 26, 2012 in News media, Obama, politics

I’ve been watching this story with some interest because from the beginning it reminded me of the Duke Lacrosse case. I’ve been smelling a rat and it would seem the stench is getting stronger. There was too much outrage right out of the gate it seemed. Just weird. So…what do we know? Trayvon was no angel to be sure. He was up here ‘visiting’ because he was suspended. He was found to be in possession of women’s jewelry and burglary tools back in the fall. That’s all interesting.
The particulars of that night in February are becoming clearer. Zimmerman, in his call to police couldn’t tell what race the person was. When told not to confront he reported he’d lost sight of the person and was going back to his car. Zimmerman claims Trayvon approached him and words were exchanged. Trayvon hit Zimmerman in the face breaking his nose. What happened next is corroborated by witnesses who reported the person in the hoodie had the person in the red shirt on the ground and was bashing his head on the sidewalk. These injuries are consistent with what police witnessed. So from that, the police were told by the prosecutors they did not have enough to arrest Zimmerman. The case must be presented at a grand jury. Sounds pretty cut and dried but we still have this insipid mob being ginned up by professional race warlords. They are demanding…DEMANDING…Zimmerman’s arrest.
I’ll say this. There would be no bounty on Zimmerman’s head by the New Black Panther Party if we had an Attorney General who believed in the rule of law and not the rule of mobs. We would not have these demands if we had a president who was a leader and upheld the Constitution. But since we have a thug for an AG and a thug for a president, how could we have expected anything different? Elections have consequences.
Oh…and a media who pushed the bullshit narrative of this case from the get-go without fully reporting there were corroborating witnesses suck. Really suck.

The Georgetown slut story that is. For those late to the party as I was here’s the outline. Sometime early last week a women claiming to be a 23 year old law student at Georgetown testified in front of Congress that colleges should provide free birth control to students because it was too expensive. OH..Georgetown is a Catholic school or something so they didn’t provide this as part of the religious doctrine. This same student claimed that it would cost the average woman 3K over the law school years.
So Rush Limbaugh, a popular whipping boy of the left, goes on air and in his cheeky manner calls this woman a slut, prostitute, and says we as taxpayers should get something for our money like videos. He goes on to say that next government will be buying women cars with comfortable back seats. Rush is known for saying things that are outrageous and way over-the-top. When you listen to him saying stuff as opposed to having some MSM idiot re-tell it you understand that it is in jest. Context and intent is important and lost when something is printed.
So what does the media and left do? They go all apeshit crazy. How could he say such things about a poor college student? Well…for one if you’re going to Georgetown law school, you probably aren’t ‘poor’. Two…there is no way on God’s green earth BC costs what this woman said. Do the math…she’s have to be banging someone many times a week to run up that kind of tab. And wasn’t a saint in my younger days, I didn’t advertise when I was single how many guys I was with because that would have made me a SLUT. One more thing too…wasn’t the point of the women’s movement that we could take care of our bodies ourselves? Why is this woman demanding government take care of her needs. Condoms are cheap and abstinence costs nothing.
So the real issue still is government mandates that religious entities provide a something that goes against their basic teaching. The left and MSM try to obfuscate the issue with this “Limbaugh picks on student” meme. Bullshit. Focus people!!!
One last thing too…now we find out this “23 year old law student” is really a 30 year old women’s activist who chose to go to Georgetown law specifically because their insurance didn’t cover contraception. She’s not only a slut, but a liar. Case closed.

No…they’ve never been a ‘right wing news outlet’. They are to the right of NBCCBSABCPBSCNNMSNBC etc so I guess that kinda makes them right wing to those outlets. They have some ‘conservative’ commentators, Hannity comes to mind. But most of their other commentators go left or right depending on their POV–which is OK…it is their opinion (O’Reilly, Cavuto). Their actual news programming is pretty fair insomuch as I can’t say I’ve see a definitive bias like I do the other channels.
For over a year now though, there have been indications they were moving further to the left, I guess to get in line with the other Obama media and it seems now more info is coming out that this is indeed the case. Why did Beck leave? I didn’t always agree with what I heard Beck say (I can’t say I watch Fox with any regularity anyway—I much prefer the History Channel). I did think Beck’s announcement he was leaving was sudden. Now we are getting a better picture as to why. This is the second news article I’ve seen in as many days about Fox’s new drift to the left and Beck’s departure so I figured it was pretty newsworty.
Fox has been hiring leftist tools like Geraldo for a few years now. This latest addition is strange for a network the left likes to claim is right wing. You don’t get more left wing than Sally Kohn, unless your Obama or Soros himself.
I do have some relatives who aren’t going to like this at all but I always say don’t rely on just one source of information anyway. A bigger question to me is, if the only network which made an attempt at times to give a more balanced view goes away and the government is successful in getting their grubby mitts on the internet, will we ever get the truth about anything ever again? Scary thought.
