Unemployment numbers part deux

This was an interesting weekend. It would seem the much-ballyhooed unemployment numbers aren’t commanding the blind allegience hoped for by the liberal media and The One. I’m really excited about this because it would seem people are paying more attention and not accepting what is being put out there as truth. They also seem to be saying the same things—the economy still stinks and nothing has changed despite the official party line. Wow…maybe the big ol’ cluebat has finally hit folks over the head.
I got a fine email from one of the finest Democrat dog washers ever, Patrick Gaspard. Here’s his Wiki bio if you want to get an idea of what his possible point of view just might be on things. Anyway, Mr. Gaspard starts his drivel off with this: “On Friday, it was announced that we’ve hit our 23rd consecutive month of job growth. We’ve seen 3.7 million private-sector jobs created during that time.” Really? So…just to be fair, go to this link to see the chart put together by the WH. I honestly will not put up a picture of the official Odumbass chart because I’m not going to waste valuable space so go there if you want to see it. I will say I don’t know where they get their numbers because it’s complete bullshit. Look at this chart from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and tell me if the WH chart makes sense?
It’s painfully clear the WH and the LSM are not going to be honest about the actual jobs record of Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress from 2007 to 2011. They just stopped counting people who used to have jobs but aren’t looking any more. If they did, the unemployment numbers would exceed those of the Great Depression and they cannot have that.
One other question. Where the hell are the Republicans on this? With the exception of Rep. West, there’s been hardly a peep. They are dumber than a box of rocks aren’t they? They should be utilizing every outlet imaginable to point out how wrong the WH is, but it’s like they’re asleep. They complain about the lack of leadership from Obama but I’d have to say they aren’t very leaderly themselves. It’s like they want to lose….. We cannot take four more years of Executive Orders and “going it alone”. Vote accordingly.

Real unemployment

I saw it yesterday on FB. A poster bragging about the official unemployment percentage released by the Obama administration. Those who have a brain may think to themselves “what has changed?”. The answer would be nothing. In fact, after Christmas, Sears and Kmart announced massive store closures. Kodak and Hostess announced bankruptcy. The economy continues to slide. So here’s a site with some stats that shows what is most likely the actual unemployment. Notice too that in the Bush years unemployment actually decreased. Enjoy

The best picture of how devastating “progressive” policies have been to our economy can be seen by looking at the data starting in 2007—when Congress became controlled by Democrats. First, some perspective. GWB was handed a recession from Clinton but you never heard GWB blame Clinton for that recession. GWB was handed, thanks to Clinton and Gorelick, a ‘wall of separation’ that ultimately lead to the 9/11 attacks yet you never heard GWB blame anyone. Moving forward, Bush became a lame duck president in 2007. Use the ‘net to go back and look at the Office of Management and Budget’s figures for the fall of 2007 forward. It’s easy to see the economy started go to off the rails as a direct result of the increasingly hostile to business Democrat Congress. Smart business people at all levels paid attention to what was going on in DC with regard to regulations, mandates, new laws, fees, etc. and started cutting back on expenses. Since nothing happens in a vacuum, what they weren’t buying (or hiring) caused the slowdown to accelerate as other companies had to start cutting back. As soon as it became obvious in the fall of 2008 that Obama was going to be elected (October 2008) the economy really began to take a nosedive, where it has been going since January 2009 when Barack “ready to rule” Obama was sworn in.
Obama has steadily used Executive Orders, layers of beaurocracy and federal departments to push his agenda when he couldn’t even get a Congress controlled by his own party to do his bidding. He has repeatedly ‘gone it alone’ as he said he would, to push his socialist/Marxist agenda. Now he has effectively shut down a pipeline project that would not only have put people to work but would have given us a measure of energy independence. Seventy percent of people polled want that project to go through. Today it was revealed he is planning to use the EPA to shut down up to 32 coal power plants. We get most of our power from coal. What happens then? To quote Obama himself, ‘prices will necessarily skyrocket’. Who is that going to hurt the most? Everyone who has little disposable income to handle any increase in bills will suffer for this decision. It won’t hurt Obama and friends. He’s killing jobs left and right, ensuring the cost of living keeps going up, while coddling our enemies. If that is the idea of someone who is doing a great job for our country the DSM-IV probably has a category now.

I think that asshole is trying to do so much damage that we won’t be able to keep up with it. It’s like a freaking attack from all sides. While his harpy alien wife is yapping at Ft. Bragg vowing to help military families, his Assholeness is promoting the idea of wounded soldiers paying for their own healthcare. WTF???!!!! What a fucking leader.

Following on the heels of the article yesterday about corporations moving their offices to more business friendly countries (Switzerland) comes this about unemployment in January. Read it and weep people. It’s looking more and more like the only change is what’ll be in your pocket–you know those two lonely nickels rubbing against each other.

While the Obamatards were flooding the MSNBC poll to boost their comrades ratings, AOHELL had a little poll and this was the results as of 9:30p last night.

It’s a bit like the MSNBC one–all unscientific and all that. Still interesting as hell. So head on over there Obamatons and flood it. We know the real score.
